Ioannis Moschonas

Dr. Ioannis Moschonas, Research assistant at the Aristotele University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), PhD in “Seismic Fragility Analysis of Concrete Bridges” and a Civil Engineering Post-graduate Degree (equivalent to MSc) Specializing in “Antiseismic Design of Structures” from AUTh. He is the author and co-author of 2 journal articles and of 10 conference papers (4 in national and 6 in international conferences) with a total of 25 citations. Also, he has a significant experience in design of new and rehabilitation (repair or strengthening) of existing structures and he participated as Member of the Research Teams in the following two research projects: “Pilot study on the pre-earthquake assessment of school and hospital buildings in the Central Macedonia Region – 1st phase” (01.12.2001 – 31.05.2003) and “Earthquake protection of bridges (acronym: ASProGe)” (01.10.2003–31.03.2007).
